Dave Wilson Dave Wilson has taught mathematics at the University of Florida since 1972. While he moved to the neighborhood in 1980 because of its proximity to the University so he could bike or walk to work, he has come to enjoy the ambiance of a tree shrouded neighborhood, where spring is ablaze with azaleas, camellias, and flowering trees and where there is a strong sense of community among the neighbors. J. J. Finley Elementary School is a magnet for both those interested in education as well as those interested in community because it provides a forum for parents, teachers, and kids to get to know one another on a first name basis. Our daughter, Jane, loved every minute of her six years at Finley. Her cat, Morris, even showed up a few times to improve his education as well
