Larry Schnell Larry Schnell has lived in University Park since 1988 and has served on the UPNA board of directors since 1992. His daughter, Gisela Schnell, grew up in the neighborhood and attended J. J. Finley Elementary School, Westwood Middle School and Gainesville High School. Larry teaches journalism courses at the University of Florida and produces educational media. He loves the neighborhood and enjoys not driving a car to work. He rides his bicycle to work and to local businesses adjacent to the neighborhood.
